Precision. Strength. Lasting Beauty.

Installing a fiberglass pool is far more than setting a shell in the ground. It’s a meticulous process that ensures long-term strength, stability, and beauty. At Whispering Creek , our
designer and team of craftsmen bring precision and care to every stage of installation, delivering results that stand the test of time. We proudly install fiberglass pools from Aqua Technics and River Pools, both recognized for exceptional engineering, lasting durability, and timeless design.

We begin by preparing the site with expert grading and a compacted gravel foundation, ensuring perfect level and drainage. Each pool is set, plumbed, and backfilled with accuracy to maintain structural integrity and prevent settling. Our process includes careful attention to plumbing, electrical systems, and finishing work so that every detail meets the highest professional standards.

We believe you deserve more than just a beautiful pool. You deserve the confidence of knowing it was installed with craftsmanship and expertise.

Our Process

Design and Acceptance
Step 1

Design and Acceptance

The first step in installing a fiberglass pool is thoughtful design. At Whispering Creek , we take the time to understand your vision, property layout, and lifestyle. During this stage, our designer collaborates with you to plan the pool and surrounding area. We carefully consider size, shape, budget, and the features that will make the space uniquely yours.

Excavation and Grading
Step 2

Excavation and Grading

Precision guides every dig. Using lasers and premeasuring tools, we establish exact elevations for your pool, taking into account design specifications, site conditions, and hardscape plans. The area is then carefully excavated, with soil stored or removed as needed, creating a stable foundation that supports
the structure and long-term integrity of your pool.

Installing the Base
Step 3

Installing the Base

After excavation is complete, a washed limestone gravel base is installed and compacted to create a level, stable foundation for the pool. This base is carefully graded to precise elevation levels, ensuring proper drainage and long-term structural integrity. This step is essential to achieving a perfectly level
surface for the fiberglass shell and preventing future movement.

Pool Placement
Step 4

Pool Placement

Once the hole has been dug and the base installed, the pool then arrives on site and is carefully lowered into place, usually by crane or boom truck. During this time, the top of the pool is checked with a laser to ensure it is level and any necessary adjustments to the base are made.

Backfilling
Step 5

Backfilling

The area around the pool shell is backfilled with washed limestone gravel to create a stable, supportive base that won’t settle or shift over time. This material also promotes proper drainage around the pool. The pool is then gradually filled with water using a combination of water truck and homeowner supply. This process ensures equal pressure inside and outside the pool shell, maintaining balance and structural integrity throughout installation.

Plumbing and Electrical Work
Step 6

Plumbing and Electrical Work

With the pool securely in place and backfilled, our team installs the plumbing and electrical systems that bring it to life, including all lines to and from the equipment, as well as lights, bubblers, main drains, and returns. We use premium components from trusted brands such as Jandy for salt systems, pumps, filters, and gas or propane heaters, and Rheem heat pumps for efficient, reliable temperature control. Every connection is completed with precision to ensure proper circulation, safe operation, and long-lasting performance, guaranteeing your pool runs beautifully and dependably for years to come.

Concrete Bond Beam
Step 7

Concrete Bond Beam

Once the plumbing and electrical work is complete, the next step is to install rebar and forms before pouring a concrete bond beam around the perimeter of the pool. This reinforced structure provides a stable base and seamlessly integrates the pool with the surrounding hardscape.

Hardscaping/Decking
Step 8

Hardscaping/Decking

Once the structural work is complete, the hardscape or pool decking is installed to frame and finish the pool area. Depending on the design, this may include premium pavers from Unilock or Oberfield , as well as travertine, natural stone, or concrete, each offering its own unique texture and style. This not only enhances the beauty of your pool but also ties the entire outdoor living space together, creating a seamless transition between the pool and surrounding landscape.

Final Grading
Step 9

Final Grading

The concrete has cured and all hardscaping is complete The next step is to install the remaining soil and topsoil to grade around the pool and hardscape. This finishing work creates a smooth, natural transition between the pool and the surrounding landscape, preparing the space for planting and final touches.

Pool Cover
Step 10

Pool Cover

The last element of the pool installation is the pool cover. Every pool requires one, whether it’s an automatic cover installed during construction or a winter cover added at the end of the project. We use high-quality Latham Pool mesh covers designed for durability, safety, and easy maintenance. This essential feature protects your pool, keeps it clean, and ensures long-term reliability and performance.
